Sixth-eight Americans were killed in action during the two-week period ending last Saturday, a U.S. military spokesman reported today. The losses were the heaviest of the Viet Nam war for American forces.
Murder Trial
Mrs. Martha Bush died of mercury cyanide poisoning March 24, a State Crime Lab expert testified today.
Earlier witnesses in the murder trial of Mrs. Shirley Blankenship testified that signs of violence were evident at the rear of Mrs. Bush's Blakely flower shop.
Newspaper Closes
The Atlanta Times has ceased publication after less than 15 months of operation.
The newspaper cited insufficient revenues and a "disappointing" response from advertisers.
