lst Cav Gets First Taste of Battle

Sharp fighting raged tonight in the central highlands between U.S. airborne troops and Viet Cong guerrillas and a report from the scene said units of the newly arrived U.S. lst Cavalry (airmobile) Division got their first taste of battle.
