College to Get Fine Arts Building

A $1 million building to house Columbus College's new Division of Fine Arts will rise on the fast growing campus next year. Mrs. Simon Schwob, who has undertaken the task of raising $500,000 for the project, said Saturday the building will house separate departments of music, drama and visual arts.

Refugees

Three U.S. charter-boats "sealifted" 248 Cuban refugees Saturday including a woman who vowed in church three years ago not to wear shoes until she could walk on free soil. The arrivals aboard the Skipper K, New Pan American and Captain Winner brought the number of refugees "sealifted" here in one week to nearly 1,000.

Ike 'Ready to Go'

Beaming and wrapped in a blue robe, former President Dwight D. Eisenhower made his first public appearance Saturday after his heart attack some 12 days ago.
