DeGaulle Change

Rep. Howard (Bo) Callaway suspects Charles De Gaulle, France's premier, has been handing the world a line to assure his re-election in his country: "No one I've talked to abroad really believes DeGaulle is serious about pulling out of NATO."

Sanders Upbeat

Gov. Carl Sanders painted a rosy picture for Georgia here Monday as he outlined his three-year-old administration's achievements. The governor, in his slow, clearly articulated voice, said that the Georgia foreseen by statesman Henry Grady 90 years ago has become a definite reality -- a state that is one of the cornerstones of the "New South."
