Gemini 7 astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell Jr. soared off on a 14-day pre-Christmas space journey Saturday and encountered a "big puzzler" when some object apparently came off the spacecraft and hit the right window. They described the object as a piece of tape or paper, or a strap.
