New Year to Be Bloodiest Yet

The year 1966 is likely to be the bloodiest ever for Americans in South Viet Nam. The U.S. death toll was heading towards 2,000 as 1965 waned. It will double or triple if the year-end casualty rates continue.

Rehab Residence

The state supervisor for rehabilitation residences supported by Vocational Rehabilitation Division said today that a location in Columbus is needed "at least by Jan. 1." Target date for opening the rehabilitation residence here is Feb. 1, 1966.
