Coroner Job

Lesley Vance, 26, has been appointed to fill the unexpired term of Russell County coroner vacated by the death of Horace Posey. Gov. George C. Wallace's office announced the appointment today.

Sertoma Award

Ledger-Enquirer military writer Charles Black, just back from Viet Nam, today received the Columbus Sertoma Club's annual "Service to Mankind" award.

Congress

Congressional leaders are in general agreement that the dominant issue in the session convening June 10 will be the Viet Nam war.
