Soldier Jailed In Huge Dope Haul
A Fort Benning soldier was in Muscogee County jail today after being arrested in the smuggling of narcotics valued at from $57-$100 million. Chief Warrant Officer Herman Conder, 35, Lot 30, Bill Miller Trailer Court, 3318 Victory Dr., was under $100,000 bond after 208 pounds of heroin was found in a freezer belonging to him.
Forestry Queen
Floyd M. Cook, unit forester for the Muscogee County Forestry Dept., announced Monday that the department again will select a Forestry Queen to represent Muscogee County in the statewide Forestry Queen Contest at Jekyll Island in February.

Three additional grades--second, seventh and eighth--in Muscogee County schools will be desegregated in September 1966
