Muscogee County Tax Increase?

The possibility of an increase in the county tax rate next year was mentioned Tuesday as Muscogee County commissioners chopped away at a proposed 1966 budget in an attempt to reduce a two-year deficit projected at more than half a million dollars.

Road Plan

Muscogee County Commissioner J.R. Allen Tuesday declared that extending limited access on the Columbus-Manchester Expressway an additional 1.223 miles is "an important link to the future."

Nativity Pageant

Central Christian Church Tuesday night began its eighth annual presentation of a "live Nativity pageant" on the church lawn at Macon Road and Dixon Drive.
