lst Cavalry Plays Santa to Orphans
The members of four U.S. Air Cavalry companies took time off from the war today to bring Christmas to 61 children in an orphanage here. "I'd rather be home with my own children," said Pfc. Levi Perry, 19, of Fort Smith, Ark. "But I like being with children. They seem to be enjoying the party."

Children from as far away as Americus and Albany were entertained at the fourth annual playhouse Christmas Party held recently at the Georgia Theater. Emceed by Patsy Avery, the party was overseen by local Boy Scouts, who entertained the children suffering from mental retardation, cerebral palsy and other crippling diseases.
