Bama Is Top Team For Second Year

The University of Alabama, which scored a lop-sided victory over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl game last week, was named the national collegiate football champion for the second straight year in the final Associated Press poll.

Gov. Carl Sanders said today he will offer no objections to a legislative move to restore use of radar and other speed timing devices to local law enforcement agencies if provisions are made that the practice can be regulated.
