An anti-gambling bill introduced last week by Sen. Julian Webb of Donalsonville heads a list of more than two dozen of pieces of Chattahoochee Valley area legislation due for action this week in the General Assembly.
L-E Gets Award
The Ledger-Enquirer Newspapers have been presented a Certificate for Distinguished Service in the 1965 Stay and See Columbus Program. Viet Nam Rally
Columbus College students this week will spearhead a local drive for support of the giant Georgia "Affirmation Viet Nam" rally at Atlanta's municipal stadium on Feb. 12.
