Senate Revives No-Gambling Bill

The Sanders administration today revived -- at least for the time being -- one of the bills in its packet of proposed anti-gambling legislation.

The Senate voted 33-18 to dislodge the bill from the Temperance Committee where it had been sent last Thursday.

One of the best kept secrets in sports -- the identity of the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons -- may be revealed this week. Rankin Smith, owner of the Falcons who has been searching for a coach for months, has been as tight-lipped as one of his insurance company's customers trying to fend off a salesman.
