Wallace Enters Wife In Governor's Race

Gov. George Wallace, in a last-ditch effort to remain in power, today announced his wife, Lurleen, as a candidate "in name only" for governor of Alabama.

The attractive 39-year-old mother of four previously had acknowledged that if elected her policy would be, in effect, to "let George do it."

'Sing Out '66'

"Sing Out '66" will stay two more days for three additional performances at Fort Benning.

Stewart Pilots Bomber

Actor James Stewart disclosed Wednesday he flew as an official observer on a bombing mission over Viet Nam Monday.

The actor, a brigadier general in the Air Force Reserve, said he piloted the bomber on the return flight but took no active part in the raid.
