Links: Two analyses of the impact of the stimulus plan

WASHINGTON — The White House continued Thursday to press its case for the economic stimulus program being debated in Congress, with Vice President Joe Biden touring a train station in Laurel, Md., that would be renovated under the proposal.

Biden's office claimed that the proposed stimulus plan would create 400,000 jobs nationwide through such projects.

A news release on the vice president's visit including links to two recent assessments of the plan, one by economist Mark Zandi and the other by two economists who now work for the Obama administration.
