WATCH: Jon Stewart sends-up Atlanta's winter storm response

In a recent segment, "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart went after Atlanta for its response to last week's winter storm, which paralyzed tens of thousands of people across the southeast. (The segment starts at about 1:45.) Stewart, in usual form, mish-mashes a group of Southern cliches as shorthand for how ridiculous -- how can-you-believe-this unimaginable -- it was that two inches of snow gridlocked everything.

It's a fun-enough bit of skewering, in the Stewart mode, which also includes a reference to "Driving Miss Daisy" and Bible-thumping. Yes! The Weather Channel is headquartered in a city that suffered from some really bad weather preparedness. But his segment also kind of completely misses the reality of Atlanta's problems, which probably would have allowed for sharper jokes.

Maybe he'll try again with the next storm.
