Team Jason Strong: The family and friends of 21-month-old Jason Kenyon will be at the Chick-fil-A Midland, 6517 Kitten Lake Drive, from 5-8 p.m. Kenyon was diagnosed with leukemia last year. Supporters can enjoy food, fun and festivities; and enter a $10 raffle for a chance to win a bike. All food and raffle proceeds go the Kenyon’s family.

Pasaquan restoration: Kohler Foundation Director Terri Yoho will Speak on the restoration of Pasaquan at 6:30 p.m. at the old Marion County Elementary School cafeteria in Buena Vista, Ga. Yoho will answer questions from citizens about the project and the future of Pasaquan, including its future use by Columbus State University.

Messy Games for Maddie: Messy Games is a locally-created fundraiser to support children and their families battling cancer. This year the fundraiser is sponsoring 2-year-old Madison Richmond, who has an inoperable brain tumor. Local businesses sponsor a variety of booths, offering a variety of “messy” activities such as Spaghetti Spa and Messy Photo Booth. Enjoy music, snacks, games and more. Book Launch: National Infantry Museum will launch “Dr. Graff Remembers: World War II Reflections,” a memoir by the late Columbus obstetrician Peter Carl Graffagnino. Work was completed for the book by Barbara Walden Dent and the author’s son, Robert. His family will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served.
