A new baby comes with a lot of new experiences - for everyone in the family. It takes a little time to get used to your new groove. Even the family Golden Retriever was feeling all sorts of confused when his humans brought their little one home. He didn't understand tummy time! And watching the sweet pupper try to get it is absolutely adorable.

The English Cream Golden Retriever was so perplexed when he looked over and saw the tiniest human in the house resting on his stomach. "What in the world is this?!"

Baker looked so concerned when he saw the infant on the ground. Mom had to step in and explain to the English Cream that everything would be a-okay.

"He's just doing some tummy time," she gently told the Golden.

I'm not sure if that clarified things for Baker. He went off and came back into the room with a stuffed animal for the little one.

"Did you bring him a toy? Did you bring him your elephant?" the woman asked the pupper. He sure did! The good boy was so patient. Even when mom told him that the little one was probably too young for stuffies.

"He's kind of busy right now, but in a few months he'll want to see your elephant," she explained.

People in the comments section couldn't get over big brother Baker.

"Pupper also got some tummy time with his elephant," wrote one person.

"That's HIS baby," someone else added.

"What a good big brother," praised another commenter.

"Such a good big fur brother," chimed in one person.

Why Do Dogs Like Stuffed Animals?

It was so nice of Baker to offer his stuffed animal to the infant. I'm sure he really loves it! Most dogs love stuffed animals because they are very comforting to them. Dogs love to use their mouths to explore the world and stuffed animals are something soft for them to chew.

Dogs also love being a part of a pack. Stuffed animals give them the feeling of being part of a group. Some female dogs even view them like surrogate babies.

It's all to say, that there really is never a bad time to give your pup a stuffy!
