Does Mirra Andreeva Have a Boyfriend? She Was Crushing Over Andy Murray

Russian tennis star Mirra Andreeva is competing in the women's final at the French Open 2026. That has propelled her more firmly into the spotlight, and with it comes questions.

Fans want to know: Does Andreeva have a boyfriend or husband? She isn't married, and, right now, she doesn't have a known boyfriend. However, she did have one famous tennis star crush. Andreeva's Instagram page is focused on her tennis career, with no hint of a boyfriend.

Andreeva is currently the number 8th-ranked women's tennis player in the world, according to the WTA. She has earned more than $9 million in prize money over the course of her career. "Originally from Krasnoyarsk and began playing aged six, but moved to Sochi and then Cannes, France, with sister to set up training base with coaches Jean-Rene Lisnard and Jean-Christophe Faurel," her bio says. She is only 19 years old.

Andreeva revealed her celebrity crush was Andy Murray back in 2023. "The atmosphere is so special. You take a lunch with all this stars, let's say. You see Andy Murray… you see his face and he's so beautiful in life. He's so amazing," Andreeva, then a teenager, told The Tennis Channel.

At the time, she was only 16. Murray took it in stride, responding, "Imagine how good she's going to be when she gets her eyes fixed."

People enjoyed Murray's response. "Andy Murray has a temper on court, he is fierce, he is brave but most of all, off court he is the nicest, especially to kids. Go Andy!" wrote one fan.

Mirra Andreeva Later Said Andy Murray Was 'Aging Like Fine Wine'

Andreeva later doubled down, saying on a podcast that Murray was "aging like fine wine."

After the beautiful comment went viral, she avoided Murray out of embarrassment but eventually asked him for a selfie. "When I (saw) him, I would go the other way and wait 10 minutes," Andreeva joked. "But I feel like he's aging like fine wine. I look at him now, and I'm like, Oh yeah, he looks good." Ajla Tomljanovic agreed with her assessment.

Again, Murray had a retort, "I've agreed to cover the cost for both ladies to have a check up at their local optometrist post-US Open," he wrote in the Instagram comments.

"World No. 8 Mirra Andreeva will face World No. 114 Maja Chwalinska, who has become the first qualifier to reach the Roland Garros final. The winner will leave Paris with the Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen and the biggest title of her career," WTA Tennis wrote.

Andreeva's sister Erika is also a professional tennis player.
