Zac Brown Band to rock Margaritaville at Sea's first 3-ship meetup
Margaritaville at Sea is gearing up to celebrate how far the cruise line has come in less than five years with a three-ship fleet gathering and an exclusive Zac Brown Band concert in January 2027.
First launched in May 2022, Margaritaville at Sea will debut its third and largest cruise ship, Beachcomber, from Miami in January, and with it, the brand is amping up its live music experiences. The cruise line is partnering with Zac Brown to create the first artist-curated live music venue at sea and debuting a new lineup of original, concert-style production shows like Friday Night Country.
Ahead of Beachcomber's launch, the brand is sponsoring Zac Brown Band's Love & Fear U.S. tour, which kicks off July 17 in Grand Rapids, Mich. After the tour wraps in late 2026, the band will play an exclusive waterfront concert in Nassau, Bahamas, only for Margaritaville at Sea cruise passengers.

Margaritaville at Sea's Zac Brown Band concert signals the line's direction
On Jan. 28, 2027, Paradise, Islander, and Beachcomber will all dock in Nassau - marking the first time the line's three-ship fleet will come together at one port. The event will not only assemble the line's cruise ships side by side, it will bring passengers together for an exclusive concert from multi-platinum, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning act Zac Brown Band at the Nassau Cruise Port Amphitheatre.
"This is more than a celebration of our fleet; it's a defining moment for Margaritaville at Sea," Margaritaville at Sea CEO Christopher Ivy said in a press release. "No one brings music and travel together quite like we do."
The fleet gathering concert is a clear sign of where the Margaritaville at Sea brand is heading. Founded on legendary singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett's easygoing island ethos, the line has been leaning harder into live music as its signature differentiator.

"When you name your ships after Jimmy Buffett, you need strong live musicians. Margaritaville at Sea succeeds with that, but it's not Buffett-heavy; it's more Buffett-inspired," said TravelHost's Come Cruise With Me Editor in Chief Dan Kline. "The new partnership with Zac Brown shows that the brand can deliver Buffett's spirit through other artists."
Margaritaville at Sea's brand evolution stands to make live music a real reason to book a sailing as "tour tourism" continues to grow. The U.S. music tourism market size was estimated at more than $65 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach more than $125.5 billion by 2033, according to ResearchandMarkets.com.
"I've always personally loved bands, duos and solo musicians more than production shows, so it's certainly a strategy that speaks to me," Kline added.
