Marietta man accused of running over 2 people at apartment complex
A'Daivius Lashaun Satterfield, 33, of Marietta, is accused of driving a gray 1999 Toyota Corolla and running over two people on July 6 at 3:52 p.m. in the parking lot of The Bentley at Marietta apartment complex, 880 S. Cobb Drive, Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Satterfield's driver's side door was open. A woman was standing between the door and the vehicle when he put the car in reverse and struck her. The victim had tire marks and rubber on both of her legs, purple bruises on both legs and road rash on her face and arms. Cobb County Fire and Metro EMS reported that she suffered a broken left ankle. A man, who was around Satterfield's car, was also struck and suffered a cut to his left hand on his pinky finger, had left leg pain and left shoulder pain, according to the warrant.
The arrest warrant lists him as A'Daivius Lashuan Satterfield but jail records list him as Adaivius Satterfield.
Satterfield is charged with two counts of aggravated assault weapon; and aggravated battery deprive. He was arrested on July 6 at 4:18 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.
Satterfield remains in custody without bond.
