Kinetic Credit Union opens ‘micro’ branch in Midland area of city

Kinetic Credit Union said Tuesday it has opened its new branch in the Midland area of Columbus, with the “micro” office going into a shopping and dining center called Lakeside Village.

The branch, which will have three employees and three personal teller machines with video and touchscreen technology, is at 6516 Kitten Lake Drive, in a retail building that faces Starbucks. The credit union said it will be offering special incentives to new members, including T-shirts, ear buds, loan discounts and bonus rates on certificates of deposit.

Hours for the lobby 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, with personal teller machine access extended by one hour to 7 p.m. each day except for Saturday.
