Nearly 2,000 visitors in city for sports events, meetings, reunions

The will be a mix of reunions, athlete events and group meetings this week in Columbus.

It all will add up to just under 2,000 visitors and an economic impact of more than $314,000, the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau said Monday.

Here are the events scheduled in the city this week, with how many people will be here for each, the total hotel room nights they will take and the financial impact it will be on the city in terms of shopping, dining and spending in stores.
