Hardaway High and UGA graduate becomes partner in Columbus law firm
Columbus native Lauren Dimitri has been named a partner in the Columbus law office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C.
Aside from Columbus, Atlanta-based Hall Booth Smith has offices in Albany, Ga., Athens, Ga., Birmingham, Ala., Brunswick, Ga., Charleston, S.C., Charlotte, N.C., Memphis, Tenn., Nashville, Tenn., North Palm Beach, Fla., and Tifton, Ga. The law firm was founded in 1989.
Dimitri, 35, has been with Hall Booth Smith since 2010. Prior to that, she was with the Columbus law firm of Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker & Ford. Her areas of practice include appellate, general liability, insurance coverage, professional negligence and medical malpractice, retail and hospitality, and workers’ compensation.
She is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Georgia and Alabama. She has an “AV Preeminent” rating with Martindale-Hubbell, which recognizes attorneys for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards.
The new partner is a graduate of Hardaway High School and the University of Georgia, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2004. She completed her juris doctorate at the University of Georgia School of Law in 2007. She is a past president of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
Dimitri is the daughter of Gary and Debbie King of the Midland area of Columbus. She and her husband, Tony, have two children, Cayden and Carrington.
Hall Booth Smith’s Columbus office is located at 233 12th St., in the Corporate Center.
