Mexican restaurant serves up ‘December Burrito Bonus’ promotion

It already has Military Monday, Tuesday College Night and a Wednesday $2.99 Kid’s Combo.

Willy’s Mexicana Grill, which has a location at 5279 Whittlesey Blvd., at Columbus Park Crossing, said Thursday it is now offering a “December Burrito Bonus.” The promotion, good each Thursday this month, offers guests a $5 burrito or a $7 favorite dish.

A quick check of the restaurant’s menu shows that the regular price of burritos that include Adobe Chicken, Chipotle Pork, Cilantro-Garlic Steak and Frito range from $6.95 to $7.95, plus tax. Favorites, which include beans and rice on the side, are $8.50 for a chicken Baja Burrito and $9.25 for a steak Baja, plus tax.

Thus, the savings from the promotion range from about $1.50 to $3.

The company said the offer is valid for those dining in and carry-out, although not through online ordering.
