A popular ice cream chain is coming to north Columbus. Here’s what you need to know
Ice cream lovers will have a new option in town as Cold Stone Creamery is heading to a location in north Columbus soon, according to a sign on the storefront.
The store will be located in the Lowe’s shopping center at the corner of Veterans Parkway and Whittlesey Boulevard, next to Firehouse Subs.
The store’s address is 2501 Whittlesey Boulevard.
The ice cream shop will be one of seven stores in Georgia and the only one in the Columbus area. The closest stores are in Newnan and Warner Robins.
A staple of Cold Stone is its ice cream, which is made in-house each day and then mixed with toppings selected by the customer on a cold, granite slab. The store also offers cakes, frozen yogurt and sorbet.
No opening date is listed on the Cold Stone website.
