Last year the Ledger-Enquirer asked its readers to tell us which barbecue restaurant was their favorite, with the winner getting bragging rights.

The Emerald’s Touch BBQ came out on top winning 62% of the vote in the final round.

This year, new restaurants have opened their doors and other may want a shot at redemption. Perhaps the Emerald’s Touch can regain its crown.

It all starts with nominations. Fill out the short form to nominate your favorite restaurant, and the twelve restaurants with the most nominations will compete in our nonscientific poll. Remember this is all in good fun, and the only prize is bragging rights.

There will be three rounds of voting with four different barbecue restaurants in each poll. Then the winners of each round will go head to head in a final round of voting.

This nominating form will be open for one week, closing next Friday at noon.
