Which barbecue restaurant in the Columbus area is the best around? Vote in Round 1!
Columbus residents have many options when it comes to barbecue restaurants.
Whether it be a Muscogee County staple like Country’s BBQ or a new restaurant like Moe’s Original BBQ, the local barbecue scene is always evolving.
Last year when the Ledger-Enquirer asked readers to choose their favorite, The Emerald’s Touch came out on top. Now is the chance for other businesses to get their redemption or for new restaurants to take a shot at the top spot.
This poll is not a scientific poll, and there is no reward other than the bragging rights of winning an online poll. But who doesn’t like arguing about who has the best barbecue in the South?
There will be three rounds of voting with four different barbecue restaurants in each poll. Then the winners of each round will go head to head in a final round of voting.
Restaurants featured in the polls have been nominated by readers in the weeks prior to this first round of voting. Here are the restaurants featured in Round 1:
- Clearview BBQ is known for its barbecue sandwiches and can be found on River Road.
- The Emerald’s Touch is an orange food truck serving ribs and Jamaican cabbage all over the city.
- Pepper’s Bar-B-Q offers smoked meat, ribs and sides on Warm Springs Road.
- Country’s Barbecue cooks its Brunswick stew from scratch at its original location on Mercury Drive.
Vote in this poll, and come back next week for another round of voting with different restaurants. This poll is not scientific, and you can vote as many times as you would like between now and when the poll closes next Monday at noon.
