Which barbecue restaurant in the Columbus area is the best around? Vote in Round 2!
Last year when the Ledger-Enquirer asked readers to choose their favorite barbecue restaurant, The Emerald’s Touch came out on top.
Last week, The Emerald’s Touch won the first round to move on to the final round with 36% of the vote.
Now is the chance for four other businesses to take a shot at winning in the second round of voting. There will be three rounds of voting with four different barbecue restaurants in each poll. Then the winners of each round will go head to head in a final round of voting.
This poll is not a scientific, and there is no reward other than the bragging rights of winning an online poll. But who doesn’t like arguing about who has the best barbecue in the South?
Restaurants featured in the polls have been nominated by readers in the weeks prior to this first round of voting. Here are the restaurants featured in Round 2:
- Chester’s Barbecue evolved from a family run store in 1939 to the barbecue restaurant it is today after it began selling rib sandwiches for $2 in 1979.
- Hog Rock BBQ is a Phenix City restaurant that specializes in barbecue, buffalo wings and homemade desserts.
- Zombie Pig BBQ wants customers to enjoy its ribs, smoked sausages and chicken in an environment that makes them feel at home.
- Macon Road Barbecue is a family-owned restaurant that’s been serving Columbus and Ft. Benning for more than 50 years.
Vote in this poll, and come back next week for another round of voting with different restaurants. This poll is not scientific, and you can vote as many times as you would like between now and when the poll closes next Wednesday at noon.
