National retailer specializing in flooring will open soon in Columbus Park Crossing
A specialty flooring retailer plans to open its first Columbus location this summer.
Floor & Decor, opening in Columbus Park Crossing on Whittlesey Boulevard, offers a selections of tile, wood, stone and flooring accessories.
The store expects to hire around 50 employees, field marketing manager Laney Dennis told the Ledger-Enquirer, with most of the staff will be part-time.
Floor & Decor operates over 220 locations nationwide, she said, and the Columbus store will be the first in its market.
“Each store is bolstered by a local focus that creates a unique experience,” Dennis said. “And a mix of products meeting the needs of each market served.”
Products are often cheaper at Floor & Decor, she said, because the retailer sources them directly from manufacturers or quarries worldwide.
Floor & Decor offers services for both homeowners and professionals, she said, including free design services.
