LongHorn Steakhouse has scheduled the grand opening date for its second Columbus location — March 26.
The 6,200-square-foot restaurant at 5435 Whittlesey Blvd., in the Columbus Park Crossing shopping and dining area, will seat more than 240 patrons, with a staff of 80 serving them, the company said today. Samuel Devaughn is the eatery’s managing partner.
A Family and Friends night will be held prior to opening day, with proceeds from that going to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
LongHorn already operates a restaurant at 3201 Macon Road in Columbus.
The chain opened its first restaurant in the Buckhead area of Atlanta in 1981, according to its website. It has grown to more than 370 locations in 35 states.
