Call-center company Afni said today it plans to hire more than 100 people for its web chat operation in Opelika, Ala., starting this month and into June.
Bloomington, Ill.-based Afni said the new staffers will interact with commercial clients’ customers via the Internet, both answering questions and selling products and services.
The company said full benefits will be offered and that workers are eligible for bonuses after being on the job 60 days. Other perks, it said, include tuition reimbursement for continuing education and flexible scheduling of work hours.
Steven Turner, Afni human resource manager, said anyone interested in applying for jobs can do so online at www.afnicareers.com. There also will be a job fair Tuesday at the company’s Opelika center at 1000 Jeter Ave.
