Call-center company Afni said today it is preparing to hire 175 customer-service and sales representatives this month and next.
To accomplish that, it will hold a “hiring party” 3 to 7 p.m. Monday CST at its Opelika facility, 1000 Jeter Avenue, said human resource manager Steven Turner. The goal is to hire 100 staffers immediately.
Those who land the jobs will handle web chats for Afni’s customers because of an “expansion of a client program.” Web-chat duties include answering questions, resolving account issues and selling products.
The company said it offers paid traning, full benefits, flexible schedules, tuition reimbursement and a pay scale that has performanced-based incentives for some of the positions.
