2022 Acura NSX Type S With Just 6 Miles For Sale At $...

My expert take on this offer

Six miles. The factory protective covers are still on the seats and steering wheel. The digital odometer reads 6, and at least one or two of those happened on a transport truck. This is, by any reasonable definition, a new car, one that Acura stopped making three years ago and will never make again.

Unit #164 of 350, when Honda shut down the NSX NC1 line after the 2022 model year, it was permanent. You cannot order a new one. You cannot wait for next year's allocation. The 350 Type S examples built for North America are the entire supply, forever, and this one has never been to a gas station.

The spec is right. Long Beach Blue Pearl is one of the two colors collectors actually argue over on these; Thermal Orange Pearl is the other, and Orchid leather is the interior pairing that photographs well and holds up. The window sticker shows a total delivered price of $187,495 from Hiley Acura of Fort Worth. Bidding is already at $246,810 with two days remaining.

Why the NSX Type S spec and mileage matter

The standard second-gen NSX made 573 horsepower. The Type S pushed that to 600 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque through the same core architecture: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 driving the rear wheels via a 9-speed dual-clutch transaxle, with two front-axle electric motors handling torque vectoring independently through Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive system. On top of that, the Type S brought revised suspension geometry, a recalibrated Sport+ mode with more aggressive responses, and carbon-ceramic cross-drilled brakes as standard equipment. The magnetorheological damper system adjusts in real time. Zero to 60 runs 2.9 seconds. Top speed is 191 mph.

This example adds every carbon fiber piece Acura offered: front splitter, decklid spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts, roof, rear spoiler, and engine cover. The five-spoke Belina wheels are staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber, 235/45 up front and 305/30 in the rear. The 8-inch TFT display behind the steering wheel shows a 7,500-rpm redline that the engine will never see at 6 miles, but that's the point.

What matters for valuation is the production math. Ferrari built the 488 Pista in the thousands. Porsche produces the GT3 at volumes that make limited editions look abundant. Acura built 350 Type S units for all of North America, including 300 for the U.S. market, hand-assembled at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio. That is a genuinely small number for a car with this performance envelope, and it only gets smaller as examples accumulate miles or meet curbs.

What is a fair top-end bid for this car?

The current bid of $246,810, with three days remaining, tells you the market has already processed the basic value story. The question is where the ceiling sits.

BaT results over the past 18 months show NSX Type S examples with under 3,000 miles trading between $165,000 and $210,000, with color driving a meaningful spread within that range. A Thermal Orange Pearl example with under 500 miles sold for $208,000 in late 2024. A Berlina Black car with approximately 1,200 miles cleared $174,000 in early 2025. Neither of those had 6 miles, factory covers in place, or the full carbon fiber package.

KBB pegs private party value for the 2022 NSX Type S at $148,000 to $172,000, figures built for higher-volume vehicles that consistently undervalue production-capped final editions in an active collector market. The window sticker here was $187,495. The car is already trading at a 32% premium to sticker with three days left, which is the market's honest assessment of what "350 ever made" means in practice.

Sub-10-mile examples of capped final editions occupy a separate category from ordinary low-mileage used cars. A Long Beach Blue Pearl Type S at 6 miles with the full carbon package, clean Carfax, factory documentation, and NSX memorabilia included is not the same asset as the same car at 4,000 miles. The realistic ceiling here sits in the $270,000 to $310,000 range, depending on how many serious collectors are watching this listing. Whether the final number lands inside that window or above it will tell you something about where NSX Type S prices are heading, not just where they have been.
