Manufacturer invests $7 million to expand Columbus footprint with new facility

Master Wall Inc., an architectural and exterior wall manufacturer, has expanded its Columbus operations with a new manufacturing facility that also serves as the company’s corporate headquarter.

The expansion represents an approximately $7 million investment in property acquisition and facility improvements. The facility employs more than 40 people and has created 35 new jobs supporting manufacturing and corporate operations, according to a Wednesday announcement from Choose Columbus.

The new facility increases production capacity for the company’s exterior insulation and finish systems, stucco, coatings, air and water barrier systems and other building-envelope products.

“We are proud to see companies like Master Wall deepen their roots here and continue contributing to the success of the Chattahoochee Valley,” Development Authority of Columbus Chairman Selvin Hollingsworth said in the news release.

According to the release, the Columbus facility also will support contractor education, training programs and technical services while improving the company’s distribution network throughout the Eastern U.S.
