Five Below will soon open 9 new stores. See where
Discount retailer Five Below will soon open nine new locations across eight states, according to the company's "Coming Soon" page on its website.
The chain, which calls itself a "trend-right, extreme-value" brand, opened its 2,000th store in the U.S. in LaGrange, Georgia on July 17 and hosted a grand opening celebration in which the first 200 customers get a free Neon Squishy Dumpling collectible.
"Reaching 2,000 stores is an incredible milestone for our brand whose mission is to be the destination for the kid and the kid in all of us," said Winnie Park, CEO, in a July 9 news release. "We know our unique retail concept has a lot of runway ahead with thousands of new stores across the U.S."
Five Below, founded in 2002, says most of its items are priced between $1 and $5. The chain has items across multiple sections, including sports, room, style, party and candy.

Where is Five Below opening new locations?
According to Five Below's "Coming Soon" page, these locations are set to open soon. Grand opening dates were not provided on the website, however USA TODAY reached out to the company to request more information. Five Below did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request.
