On the Move: Kathy Burns named regional representative by Sen. Perdue
Kathy Burns named regional representative by Sen. Perdue
U.S. Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) has named Kathy Burns as his west central Georgia regional representative.
Burns, a small business owner and active volunteer, will represent the senator at events and meetings in 15 counties. They stretch from Muscogee County, including Ft. Benning, to Crisp and Upson counties.
"Kathy is the ideal representative for the west central region of Georgia," Perdue said in a statement. "Kathy and her husband have been stationed at Fort Benning in Columbus five times over 26 years and she understands the needs of Georgia's military families. This unique experience and her compassion for helping Georgians make her a valued member of our team.
Burns said she is "honored and excited to help serve (the senator's) constituents in this position."
Perdue's field team can be reached by contacting his Atlanta office at 404-865-0087.
