Insurance firm Aflac has once again been named to Fortune magazine’s list of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.”

This is the 15th year that the company, headquartered on Wynnton Road in Columbus, has been honored by the business publication. Aflac, which sells supplemental health and life insurance policies in the U.S. and Japan, also is the top firm in the category of innovation by an insurance, life and health company.

“It is an honor to be named a Fortune World’s Most Admired Company for the 15th time and to receive confirmation of Aflac’s reputable service to our customers and shareholders,” Aflac Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dan Amos said in a statement.

Those making the “Most Admired” list were graded in several areas, including innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.

Aflac celebrated its 60th anniversary last year. The company has grown steadily through the years, with it racking up a profit of $2.5 billion in 2015 on total revenues of just under $21 billion.

The “World’s Most Admired Companies” list appears in the March print edition of Fortune, with the magazine hitting the streets today.
