Mutual fund servicing firm Delta Data hires five for Columbus and beyond

Delta Data, headquartered in Columbus, announced several new hires Monday in support of its business serving the mutual fund industry.

David Riley joins the company as vice president of Client Success Management and will focus on client growth and nurturing within the company’s distribution services offerings. He is based in New Jersey. Riley previously was vice president of mutual fund operations at Morgan Stanley and has 20 years of experience in that industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rutgers University and master’s from Montclair State University.

Scott Marcus joins the firm as senior sales director and will focus on oversight solutions products. Marcus has 10 years experience in enterprise sales of asset management, mutual funds and hedge funds transactions. He is based in Boston. Marcus previously was vice president of Envision Financial Systems, business development manager for plumRHINO Consulting, regional manager for Wachovia Bank real estate/mortgage division, and regional manager for Guardian Investment Services. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science/economics from Trinity College.

David Horne joins the company as a product developer and will focus on the company’s fee manager product. Horne has 20 years experience in product marketing and management, matrix management, vendor management and merchant acquisition. He is located at the company’s headquarters in Columbus. Horne previously held several positions with TSYS Acquiring Solutions, most recently as senior product manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing from Georgia Southwestern State University.

Amy Fuhlman joins the firm as marketing manager and will focus on marketing, branding, event management and lead generation. Fuhlman has 20 years experience in marketing, communications and public relations. She is located at the company’s headquarters in Columbus. Fuhlman previously served as director of marketing for Janus International Group and has held marketing communications positions at Fiserv, WebMD and Lanier Worldwide. She has a bachelor’s degree in consumer journalism from the University of Georgia.

Fawn Kirkpatrick joins the company as sales director and will focus on sales and customer relationship management. Kirkpatrick has six years experience in sales, customer relations, research and management. She is based in New York. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Montana State University and a juris doctor from the University of Montana School of Law.

Delta Data, which employs more than 60, has offices in Brookstone Centre, but is relocating to the Swift Mills complex in downtown Columbus this spring. The company offers back-end software to enable mutual funds, broker-dealers and bank trusts to manage complex daily processes. It also provides reporting on all levels of data.
