Georgia reports 108 deaths related to coronavirus. Here’s where they happened in the state

As of noon Tuesday, the state of Georgia reported 108 deaths related to the COVID-19 pandemic, up from 102 at 7 p.m. Monday.

The Georgia Department of Public Health at noon Tuesday confirmed 3,817 cases of COVID-19 in the state, up by 785 from the Monday evening update.

Georgia’s first death from COVID-19 was reported March 12. The 67-year old man had been hospitalized with new coronavirus at WellStar Kennestone in Marietta since testing positive March 7. Officials said he had underlying health conditions.
