Lee County coronavirus cases increase to 82. Here’s a breakdown of Alabama by county
Lee County, Alabama has 82 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 4:30 p.m. EST Wednesday, a total that increased by seven since the noon update.
State health officials report there are now 1,077 confirmed cases statewide and 26 deaths related to the coronavirus.
The state reports 7,774 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
