Lee County coronavirus cases increase to 89. Here’s a breakdown of Alabama by county
Lee County, Alabama has 89 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 3:30 p.m. EST Thursday, a total that increased by four since the noon EST update on Thursday.
State health officials report there are now 1,202 confirmed cases statewide and 32 deaths related to the coronavirus.
The state reports 8,619 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
