Lee County coronavirus cases near 100. Here’s a breakdown of Alabama by county
Lee County, Alabama has 99 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 4:30 p.m. EST Friday, a total that increased by three since the 10:30 a.m. EST update on Friday.
State health officials report there are now 1,454 confirmed cases statewide and 38 deaths related to the coronavirus. Three of the 38 deaths have been from Lee County.
The state reports 9,601 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
