Lee County now has 125 coronavirus cases. Here’s a breakdown of Alabama by county
Lee County, Alabama reported 125 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 4:30 p.m. EST Tuesday.
State health officials report there are now 2,152 confirmed cases statewide and 59 deaths related to the coronavirus. Four of the 45 deaths have been from Lee County.
There have been 244 tests done in the county, and 271 people have been hospitalized across the state due to coronavirus.
The state reports 14,765 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
