Alabama reports over 2,700 coronavirus cases. Here’s a county-by-county breakdown
Lee County, Alabama reported 204 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 3:30 p.m. EST Thursday.
State health officials report there are now 2,769 confirmed cases statewide and 74 deaths related to the coronavirus. Six of the 68 deaths have been from Lee County.
There have been 628 tests done in the county, and 314 people have been hospitalized across the state due to coronavirus.
The state reports 20,605 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
