Coronavirus

Alabama reports over 3,000 coronavirus cases. Here’s a county-by-county breakdown.

Lee County in Alabama reported 214 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 10:30 a.m. EST Saturday.

State health officials report there are now 3,032 confirmed cases statewide and 81 deaths related to the coronavirus. Six of the 81 deaths have been from Lee County.

There have been 628 tests done in the county, and 402 people have been hospitalized across the state due to coronavirus.

The state reports 20,605 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.

However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
