Alabama reports over 3,800 coronavirus cases. Here’s a county-by-county breakdown.
Lee County, Alabama, reported 250 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of 10:30 a.m. EST Tuesday.
State health officials report there are now 3,809 confirmed cases statewide and 105 deaths related to the coronavirus. Ten of the 105 deaths have been from Lee County.
There have been 1,542 tests done in the county, and 493 people have been hospitalized across the state due to coronavirus.
The state reports 33,050 COVID-19 tests have been conducted by state and private labs. This number is only reported daily and not in real-time, like the rest of Alabama’s numbers.
However, private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
