Alabama coronavirus cases top 6,500. Here’s a county-by-county breakdown
The number of novel coronavirus cases in Alabama has surpassed 6,500, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s 10:30 a.m. EST Tuesday update.
The number of cases in Lee County has reached 368, while the number of cases has reached 53 in Russell County.
There have been 74,359 tests done statewide. Private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
The state reports 241 COVID-19-related deaths.
