The number of novel coronavirus cases in Alabama has now reached 7,085, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s 10:30 a.m. EST Friday update.

The number of reported cases in Lee County has reached 388, while Russell County reports 57.

There have been 89,997 tests done statewide. Private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.
