Muscogee County reports 345 coronavirus cases. Here are totals for our area

Muscogee County and its surrounding areas have 1,754 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus as of the 7:25 p.m. update from Georgia’s Department of Public Health, up by 10 from 12:25 p.m.

There were 100 COVID-19-related deaths reported in the 18-county area at 7:25 p.m.

Muscogee County reports 348 confirmed cases and 12 deaths as of 7:25 p.m., an increase of three deaths since this afternoon.

  • Talbot 24, 1, 11
  • Taylor 18, 2, 8
  • Schley 15, 1, 7
  • Chattahoochee 12, 0, 5

  • Webster 10, 2, 5

  • Quitman 6, 1, 3

Georgia’s West-Central Health District covers 16 counties: Chattahoochee, Clay, Crisp, Dooly, Harris, Macon, Marion, Muscogee, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Stewart, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor and Webster.

Troup and Meriwether counties are not in the West-Central Health District but because of their proximity to Columbus, the Ledger-Enquirer will track those numbers as well.
